The Marmolada
We think the Dolomites are the most beautiful and spectacular mountains in the world! We took a shuttle from Bolzano to Passo Pordoi today and, after checking in to Hotel Col Di Lana, we took the tram up to Sass Pordoi where, on a clear day, the views are unbeatable.

We spent the entire afternoon on top of the world with jaw-dropping scenes everywhere we looked.

It was a gorgeous day for parasailing, with light winds and fairly warm temperatures.
Conditions were also apparently perfect for squirrel-suit jumping. We watched these young Americans launch three separate times during the afternoon.
The day ended with a beautiful sunset and a gourmet four-course dinner that included Smoked Goose Breast w/Rocket Salad & Parmesan Cheese and Home-made Ravioli w/Pear & Cheese.
